    I was always a big Derek Lowe fan and was happy that he did so well in the 2004 post season. I continued to follow him after the Sox years. Thanks for the great article and letting us learn more about Derek and his life. I didn’t realize that he had a basketball scholarship offer from Eastern Michigan.
