November 21, 1962: The Boston Red Sox trade pitcher Don Schwall, who had been the American League Rookie of the Year in 1961, and catcher Jim Pagliaroni to the Pittsburg Pirates for first baseman Dick “Dr. Strangeglove” Stuart and pitcher Jack Lamabe; Red Sox fans later cheer Stuart for fielding an errant hot dog wrapper.
