October 4, 1975: The Red Sox won Game One of the ALCS Series 7-1 over the defending three-straight World Champion Oakland A’s in front of 35,578 fans at Fenway Park; Luis Tiant pitched a three-hit complete game and Fred Lynn powered the offense with a two-run double after Boston scored two runs in the first inning on two Oakland errors.
