October 1, 1967: In one of the most dramatic games ever played in Fenway Park, the Red Sox defeated the Minnesota Twins 5-3 before a sellout crowd of 35,770 to clinch at leasta tie for the American League Pennant; Jim Lonborg held the Twins to seven hits, Yaz sparked the offense with four hits and the crowd mobbed the field to celebrate the Impossible Dream season.
