September 14, 2002: The Red Sox defeat the Baltimore Orioles 6-4 behind the strong pitching of Derek Lowe who is credited with his 20th win of the season; a crowd of 32,123 at Fenway Park cheered Manny Ramirez’ two home runs, which provide Lowe with the cushion he needed and Derek becomes the first major leaguer to win 20 after a 20 save season.
