August 30, 1986: The Red Sox defeat the Cleveland Indian 7-3, before 33,467 fans at Fenway Park as Tony Armas sparks the offense with a home run and three RBI and Roger Clemens strikes out 11 in 7 stellar innings of pitching to improve his record to 20-4; Roger will finish the year at 24-4, winning the AL Cy Young Award and MVP for his outstanding season.
