July 28, 1965: Right hander Billy Monbouquette shuts out the Kansas City A’s 6-0 as Yaz homers and Dalton Jones had two key hits to lead the offense; but for the second year in a row Tony Conigliaro suffers a serious injury when he is hit by a Wes Stock fastball, and Tony C missed about one month as a result of his injury.
