June 13, 1957: Ted Williams hits three home runs, two off Early Wynn and one off Bob Lemon, to lead the Red Sox to a 9-3 win over the Cleveland Indians; Williams had hit three home runs in a game against the White Sox on May 8, 1957, and his big day made him the first American Leaguer to hit three home runs in two games in the same season.
