June 9, 1967: Carl Yastrzemski serves notice that the Cardiac Kids are for real as he makes two spectacular catches and hits two home runs to lead the Red Sox to an 8-7 win over the Washington Senators; Yaz would go on to be named the AL MVP and to win the Triple Crown with a .326 average, 121 RBI, and 44 home runs.
