June 7, 2011: Jonathon Papelbon earns his 200th career save with the Boston Red Sox as he closes out a 6-4 win over the New York Yankees; his 200th career save comes in his 259th game with the Red Sox and establishes an MLB record for the fewest appearances required to reach 200 saves, surpassing the Yankees’ Mariano Rivera.
