May 27, 1955: Red Sox first baseman Norm Zauchin hits three home runs and barely misses a fourth with a Green Monster double; all of Zauchin’s hits came in the first five innings, and resulted in ten RBI to tie a team record set by Rudy York, as the Red Sox defeat the Washington Senators 16-0.
