May 6, 2008: Forty-one year-old Tim Wakefield pitches eight shutout innings and forty-two year-old Mike Timlin pitches the ninth to complete the shutout as the Red Sox defeat the Tigers 5-0; this is the first time in more than a century that two pitchers over the age of 40 have combined for a shutout.
