April 3, 1992: The Red Sox celebrate their last game in their Winter Haven, FL, spring headquarters with a 14-4 win over the Detroit Tigers; the Red Sox, who had moved to Winter Haven in 1966, after seven springs in Scottsdale, AZ, grew frustrated with the maintenance of the fields by the City of Winter Haven, and they had already announced their move to Fort Myers in 1993.
