October 11, 1999: The Red Sox quieted a sellout crowd of 45,114 at Jacobs Field by defeating the Indians 12-8 to win the ALDS; the Indians had scored 8 runs in the first three innings but Pedro Martinez came in from the bullpen to pitch six innings of no-hit baseball and Troy O’Leary hit two home runs driving in seven runs.
