August 26, 1990: The Red Sox defeat the Toronto Blue Jays 1-0 before 50,000 fans at the Skydome in Toronto as Greg Harris limits the Jays to two hits in eight innings and Jody Reed drives in Tom Brunansky with the only run of the game in the eighth inning; this is the Red Sox third consecutive shutout of Toronto, the team that leads MLB in runs scored.
