July 14, 1917: Carl Yastrzemski goes four-for-six for the American League All-Star team as the American League falls short at Riverfront Stadium, but the National League prevails in twelve innings by a score of 5-4; Yaz is only the second American League player to have four hits in the All-Star game and he joins another Red Sox left fielder named Ted Williams.
