July 10, 1977: The Red Sox sweep a doubleheader over the Milwaukee Brewers at County Stadium despite leaving a total of 28 runners on base in the two games; in the opener, the Red Sox won 8-5 in 11 innings led by a Rick Burleson triple, but the team left 20 runners on base, while the Red Sox were more efficient in a 7-3 game two win, stranding only 8.
