May 29, 1993: With the Texas Rangers trailing the Red Sox 12-1 in the 8th inning, Texas manager Kevin Kennedy calls on outfielder Jose Canseco to pitch; Canseco gives up 3 runs, strains a ligament in his right elbow, and misses the rest of the season as well as limiting his future effectiveness in the outfield.
