April 8, 1969: Tony Conigliaro, who is playing in his first game since his 1967 beaning, receives one of the greater ovations in Fenway Park history, and scores the winning run in a 5-4 extra inning win over the Baltimore Orioles; Tony C would go on to be named the AL comeback player of the year after swatting 20 home runs and driving in 82 runs in 1969.
