February 23, 2013: Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schillings “bloody sock” from Game Two of the 2004 World Series is auctioned off for $92,613; it should be noted that the original bloody sock was worn in Game Six of ALCS against the Yankees but Schilling repeated the dramatic performance in Game Two against the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series.
